Strapping round surfaces is particularly challenging because only a small contact area for the strapping is available and sealless joints can not be used here. Typical examples are the strapping of steel strip coils, wire coils, tubes or profiles. Here, no plastic strapping may be used - steel strapping and the use of seals are necessary. After the so-called "lasso" principle, the steel strap is placed in slings around the package, then contracted with the strapping device and sealed with a shell. It depends on the circumstances and the specific frame package which device is the right one. TITAN employees can give advice here because of their experiences.
