- Content of the request (specific page)

2) In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and associated with the browser you are using, and through which certain information is transmitted to the entity that sets the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall.
(3) Use of cookies:
a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:
- Transient cookies (see b)
- Persistent cookies (see c).
b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be associated with the same session. This enables your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time via your browser’s security settings.
d) You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may not be able to use all the features of this website.
e) We use cookies to identify you for subsequent visits if you have an account with us. Otherwise, you would have to log in again for each visit.
f) The Flash cookies used are not recorded by your browser, but by your Flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects, which are stored on your device. These objects store the necessary data regardless of the browser you use and do not have an automatic expiry date. If you do not wish Flash cookies to be processed, you must install a suitable add-on, e.g. ‘Better Privacy’ for Mozilla Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/) or the Adobe Flash Killer Cookie for Google Chrome. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by using private browsing mode in your browser. We also recommend that you regularly delete your cookies and browser history manually.
g) Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google beforehand within Member States of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, we would like to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
h) Our website uses JavaScript code from the website www.jquery.com. If you have enabled JavaScript in your browser and have not installed a JavaScript blocker, your browser may transmit personal data. We do not know which data is linked to the data received, nor for what purposes this data is used. If you do not wish data about you to be collected via our website, you must implement a Shut-off of JavaScript code in your browser or block the execution of scripts for the domain www.jquery.com entirely (e.g. www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com).
i) This website uses Facebook Social Plugins, which are operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). These integrations can be identified by the Facebook logo or the terms ‘Like’, ‘Gefällt mir’ and ‘Share’ in Facebook’s colours (blue and white). Information on all Facebook plugins can be found at the following link: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/ The plugins are only activated when you click on the corresponding buttons. If these are displayed in grey, the plugins are inactive. You have the option to activate the plugins either once or permanently. The plugins establish a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. This only occurs after the plugin has been activated. The website operator has no influence whatsoever on the nature and scope of the data that the plugin transmits to the servers of Facebook Inc. You can find information on this here: www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084 The plugin informs Facebook Inc. that you, as a user, have visited this website. It is possible that your IP address may be stored. If you are logged into your Facebook account whilst visiting this website, the aforementioned information will be linked to it.
j) To protect the data you submit as effectively as possible, we use SSL encryption. You can recognise such encrypted connections by the prefix “https://” in the page link in your browser’s address bar. Unencrypted pages are indicated by “http://”. Thanks to SSL encryption, any data you transmit to our website – for example, when making enquiries or logging in – cannot be read by third parties.
k) External fonts, Google Fonts, are used on these web pages. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). These web fonts are integrated via a server request, usually to a Google server in the USA. This transmits information to the server regarding which of our web pages you have visited. Google also stores the IP address of the browser on the visitor’s device. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy, which you can access here: www.google.com/fonts#AboutPlace:about www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
