Greenfield or brownfield – the main thing is TITAN
Wherever you are: TITAN will come to you. Whether it’s a greenfield site or a field that’s already been worked. In existing projects, we capture every detail, exchange existing drawings with your team, or carry out measurements right down to the point cloud for the CAD model. If you’re building a completely new hall, we get involved very early in the planning phase, offer advice based on our expert knowledge and are happy to coordinate directly with suppliers – for example, for the conveyor plants.
The first step in the engineering process for your strapping system or packaging line
In the first engineering stage, we ask a whole host of questions. For example, what you consider to be the key priorities for your strapping system. These might include energy efficiency, ergonomics and health and safety. Or ensuring the best possible access to specific components. Or even a precisely defined product throughput, down to the second. We then draw up a detailed project plan with a clear timeline, including delivery and installation dates. And that’s set in stone.
Now the fun really begins!
In the second step, our engineering experts develop a control philosophy for your strapping system or packaging line that has been thought through down to the last detail. How many straps does it need to apply, and within what timeframe? Where should the strapping be applied, and how? Which TITAN strapping head is the right one for the job – or should there be several? How does the packaging material get to the plant? Where should gates and doors be located for optimum accessibility? How is the safety area performed? How is the signal exchange carried out? We think of everything. And we record it in a concrete 3D drawing. Usually directly in your working environment.
