With one of the most innovative exhibition stands at interpack 2026, TITAN demonstrated what modern strapping looks like today: automated, highly efficient and uncompromisingly geared towards high-end applications. Read here why robotic strapping at the turntable became the talk of the industry.

When the international packaging industry gathers in Düsseldorf every four years, it is no longer just about machinery and materials. It’s about the next innovative steps towards the industry’s future – and about who is leading the way most convincingly. This is precisely where TITAN made a titanic statement at interpack 2026.

Instead of a broad product showcase, TITAN consistently presented the international audience with a single, strong focus this year: innovative, robot-assisted high-performance strapping solutions for demanding applications. With the patented TITAN robotic strapping of large steel coils at the turntable serving as an impressive example. And in doing so, it has clearly struck a chord with the industry.

Every four years, interpack provides TITAN with a major international platform. This time, we are focusing on our completely new, patented TITAN robotic strapping system. And with our 3D display via VR headsets, we are creating a unique highlight at the entire trade fair.

A clear focus on high-end strapping

Even from a distance, the open-plan stand caught visitors’ attention. High-quality visuals, large-format images and a drone fly-through of a live plant highlighted the brand’s technological expertise. Everything was focused on the real crowd-puller: an immersive augmented and virtual reality application that allowed visitors to experience robotic strapping at the turntable in impressive 3D. All in all, a stimulating oasis of excitement for the meet-and-greet with trade fair visitors – naturally with draught beer.

Our robot-assisted packaging lines open up unprecedented new possibilities for users in terms of flexibility, productivity, cost-effectiveness and occupational safety. The immersive presentation helped to explain complex technological concepts in an accessible way and immediately sparked customers’ enthusiasm for the solution.

Eye-catching VR experience

In fact, the virtual presentation attracted attention far beyond the usual trade audience. Visitors stopped to try on the VR headsets and were immediately immersed in the complex processes of the automated strapping solution. The technology was thus not only explained, but also made physically tangible.

Visitors could see the robotic solution, move around and interact directly with the display. Many were genuinely amazed by it. The application turned out to be a real highlight of the trade fair.”

The VR demonstration of our robotic strapping plant at the turntable was outstanding. I haven’t seen a virtual demonstration of this kind at the trade fair before – not even from the other strapping machine manufacturers. Many visitors even made a point of finding their way to us in Hall 6.

Positioning in the premium segment

In terms of product range, TITAN clearly positioned itself at interpack within the premium segment of modern strapping solutions, offering bespoke plants for customers who demand the highest standards of process safety, automation and efficiency. Here, TITAN demonstrates an outstanding example of maximum flexibility with minimum space requirements, a huge increase in production and process optimisation, the highest levels of occupational safety and a significant reduction in manpower requirements with its fully automated robotic strapping at the turntable. The patented TITAN solution opens up entirely new possibilities for automated packaging and strapping processes – particularly where conventional systems reach their limits.

The fact that this innovation not only attracts attention but also creates concrete business opportunities has already become apparent during the current trade fair. Visitor numbers were high and international, the discussions were of a very high standard, and the first concrete enquiries for robot-assisted plants were received at an early stage. TITAN is thus leaving far more than just a strong visual impression at interpack 2026 – with a clear vision of the future of automated strapping processes.

Highlight Prototype: TITAN Connect Cabinet

Another highlight at the TITAN stand was the prototype of the new TITAN CONNECT cabinet, which is set to revolutionise the servicing and maintenance of strapping tools in the future. To this end, the condition of equipment fitted with TITAN CONNECT is monitored continuously. The operator can see at any time where each device is located on the premises and when the next maintenance is due. In this case, the device emits a signal. And instead of going to the trouble of sending it in, it is simply placed in the TITAN CONNECT cabinet, where an equivalent, ready-to-use device is immediately available. TITAN Service ensures regular replacement. The TITAN CONNECT cabinet, including the devices, is offered as a cost-effective leasing model.
